The End of the Iliad

Yay!

That stupid war is finally over!

I can't believe they made me go to it. Seriously, I just wanted to stay home with Penelope and Telemachus. Everything would have been fine. But no, even after pretending to be a lunatic (and being discovered) they still made me go off to war. Wasn't it obvious that I didn't want to go?!? *bitch bitch whine whine rant* Anyway, I'm glad the damn thing is over now!

All that said, if I had to be involved in a war, I'm really happy that it was this one!

There were some great moments in this war. Like when Achilleus came to join the battle in new armour that was made by Hephaestus. He took his stance out there and was shining in all his armour like the sun!

There was kind of a sad moment, when Patroclus died. (Achilleus and Patroclus were really close. What do we think - were they just friends? Not likely!)

But then there was the wooden horse thing, and that was awesome. Seriously, it was amazing. I mean, not just because I thought of the idea that won the war and all. Also because the plan totally worked and we defeated all those Trojans! Go us, Greeks are awesome!!

Anyway, it was a really great war, even if I didn't want to be there so much.

I really do miss Penelope and Telemachus, but I think we're planning to make a stop in Thrace to do a bit of looting and whatnot. It should be fun!!

Will keep blogging, I know I've been a bit quiet over the war, but there'll be plenty of time for blogging while I'm on this long voyage home. I bet it'll be a great story!! Hopefully quite short though...
